Big Idea
When we obey God's way — even when it doesn't look strong to the world — He gives the victory.
Story Summary
Jericho was a great walled city that no one could enter — but the LORD told Joshua, 'I have given into thine hand Jericho.' For six days Israel marched around the city once in silence with priests blowing trumpets before the ark. On the seventh day they marched around seven times, the priests blew, the people shouted with a great shout, and the wall fell down flat. The victory was won by obeying God's strange and wonderful plan.

Craft Idea: Jericho Cup-Stack Wall
Supplies
- Paper or plastic cups (8–10 per child)
- Markers to draw 'bricks' on the cups
- A small paper trumpet per child
- A Joshua 6:20 label
Steps
- Decorate the cups like the walls of Jericho.
- Stack the cups into a wall — pyramid style.
- March around the wall seven times, blow the trumpet, shout, and knock it down!
- Stick the Joshua 6:20 label on the trumpet to take home.

- Craft (15 min): Make the jericho cup-stack wall.
- Wrap-up (5 min): Hand out the worksheet to finish at home and recite the memory verse one last time.
