    God Made Everything

    "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth."

    Before there was anything at all — no sun, no sky, no oceans, no people — there was God. With His voice He spoke the whole world into being. The mountains, the stars, your dog, even the way your laugh sounds — God thought it up and made it real. Nothing exists by accident.

    Day 2Psalm 23:1

    The Good Shepherd

    "The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want."

    A shepherd watches over his sheep day and night. He leads them to safe places, makes sure they have food and water, and goes out into the dark to find them when they're lost. The Bible says God is your shepherd. He is watching over you right now — and you matter that much to Him.

    Day 3Joshua 1:9

    Be Strong and Courageous

    "Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."
    — Joshua 1:9 (KJV)

    God said this to Joshua right before he had to lead a whole nation into a brand-new land. Joshua was probably nervous. But God didn't say 'don't be scared because it'll be easy' — He said 'don't be scared because I am with you.' That's the same promise He gives you today.

    Day 4Matthew 19:14

    Jesus Loves Children

    "Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven."

    Jesus' helpers thought children weren't important enough to bother Him. But Jesus stopped what He was doing, opened His arms wide, and said, 'Let the children come to me.' You are never too small, too loud, or too ordinary for Jesus. He always has time for you.

    Day 5Ephesians 4:32

    Be Kind to One Another

    "And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."

    Kindness isn't just being nice when you feel like it. It's choosing to be gentle even when somebody is unkind to you first. God has been incredibly kind to us — He forgave us through Jesus. So we get to share that kindness with brothers, sisters, classmates, and even people we don't know very well.

    Day 6Proverbs 3:5

    Trust in the Lord

    "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding."
    — Proverbs 3:5 (KJV)

    Trusting someone means believing they will do what's best for you. Sometimes God says 'wait' or 'no' and we don't understand why. The Bible says don't lean on your own understanding — lean on God. He sees the whole story when we only see one page.

    Day 7Matthew 5:16

    Let Your Light Shine

    "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."

    When you turn on a lamp in a dark room, the whole room changes. Jesus says you carry a light too — and the way you live can show people what God is like. Saying thank you, telling the truth, sharing your snack — those small lights help people see God.

    Day 8John 3:16

    For God So Loved the World

    "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
    — John 3:16 (KJV)

    This might be the most famous verse in the whole Bible — and for good reason. It tells us why Jesus came: because God loved us. He didn't wait for us to be good enough. He sent Jesus while we were still messy and far from Him. That's how loved you are.

    Day 9Philippians 4:13

    I Can Do All Things

    "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."

    This isn't a magic verse that means you can score every goal or ace every test. It means that whatever God calls you to — being patient, being honest, being brave, doing the right thing when nobody is watching — Jesus gives you the strength to do it. You're not on your own.

    Day 10Psalm 139:14

    You Are Wonderfully Made

    "I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works."

    There has never been another you in all of history, and there never will be. Your fingerprints, your laugh, the way you think — God designed every detail on purpose. You are not a mistake. You are one of God's marvellous works.

    Day 11Psalm 118:24

    This Is the Day

    "This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it."

    Some days are exciting. Some days are hard. Some days feel boring. But every single one of them is a day the Lord made. Even the rainy ones, even the tired ones. We get to choose joy because the day itself is a gift from Him.

    Day 12Ephesians 6:1

    Obey Your Parents

    "Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right."

    Obeying isn't just about following rules. It's about trusting that God put parents in your life to love and protect you. When you obey with a happy heart, you're really obeying God too. And He notices — even the small times.

    Day 13Galatians 5:22-23

    The Fruit of the Spirit

    "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance."
    — Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV)

    An apple tree doesn't try really hard to grow apples — it just grows them because it's connected to its roots. When you stay close to Jesus, your life starts to grow good fruit too: love, joy, peace, kindness. You don't have to fake it. Just stay close to Him.

    Day 14Psalm 56:3

    When I'm Afraid

    "What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee."

    Even brave people get scared. The Bible doesn't say 'never be afraid.' It says when you are afraid, you have somewhere to go — straight to God. Tell Him what you're scared of. He's not annoyed. He's listening.

    Day 15John 13:34

    Love One Another

    "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you."

    Jesus didn't ask us to love people the way we feel like loving them. He said love them the way He loved us — patiently, on the hard days, with our actions and not just our words. That's a big love. But it starts with one small choice today.

    Day 16Matthew 7:7

    Ask, and It Shall Be Given

    "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you."

    Jesus tells us to ask. He doesn't promise we'll always get exactly what we want — He promises we'll always be heard. God is a good Father. He doesn't give His kids snakes when they ask for bread. Keep asking. Keep seeking. Keep knocking.

    Day 17Romans 8:38-39

    Nothing Can Separate Us

    "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life… shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

    Make a list of every scary thing you can think of. Now know this: not one of those things is bigger than God's love for you. Bad days don't separate you from Him. Mistakes don't separate you from Him. He is holding on to you tight.

    Day 18Psalm 34:18

    The Lord Is Near

    "The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit."

    When something hurts your heart — losing a friend, getting in trouble, missing someone — God doesn't stand far away. The Bible says He moves close. Sad days are not days God ignores you. They're days He sits beside you.

    Day 19Philippians 2:14

    No Grumbling

    "Do all things without murmurings and disputings."

    Grumbling is sneaky — it can take a normal day and make it feel terrible. The Bible says God's kids do their work, even chores, with a different attitude. Try it as an experiment today: instead of grumbling, thank God. See how the day changes.

    Day 20Mark 12:31

    Love Your Neighbor

    "Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."

    Jesus said the second most important thing in the whole Bible was loving your neighbor as yourself. Your neighbor isn't only the person who lives next door — it's anyone God puts in your path. The kid sitting alone. The grumpy cashier. Your sibling.

    Day 211 Thessalonians 5:18

    Give Thanks Always

    "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."

    It says 'in every thing' — not 'for every thing.' Even on hard days, there's something we can thank God for. Thankfulness is like a lamp; the more you turn it on, the more you see. Try counting three good things tonight before bed.

    Day 22Luke 6:31

    Do Unto Others

    "And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise."

    This is called the Golden Rule. Before you say something or do something, pause and ask: would I want this done to me? It's such a simple test, but it changes the way we treat people in seconds.

    Day 23Exodus 20:12

    Honor Your Father and Mother

    "Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land."

    Honoring is bigger than just obeying. It means showing respect even when you disagree, speaking kindly, and being thankful. It's one of the Ten Commandments — God thinks it's important. And He gives a sweet promise alongside it.

    Day 24Romans 8:28

    All Things Work Together

    "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

    Not every thing is good. But God can take every thing — the good, the hard, even the messy mistakes — and weave them into something good. He doesn't waste anything in the lives of His children.

    Day 25Psalm 27:1

    The Lord Is My Light

    "The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?"

    When the lights go out at night, even familiar things feel scary. But when somebody flips the switch — instantly the fear is gone. God is your light. With Him you don't have to be afraid of the dark places, because He brings light wherever He goes.

    Day 26Psalm 19:14

    The Words I Say

    "Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD."

    Words are powerful. They can build people up or knock them down. God hears every word we say — and He cares what we say. This is a great prayer to whisper before school: 'God, may my words today make You smile.'

    Day 271 Peter 5:7

    Cast Your Cares

    "Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."

    'Cast' means to throw — really throw, not just hold a little bit out. God isn't asking you to pretend you're not worried. He's asking you to hand the worry over to Him. Why? Because He cares about you. Every detail.

    Day 28James 1:22

    Be Doers, Not Just Hearers

    "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves."

    It's easy to learn a verse and then forget about it five minutes later. God wants His Word to actually change how we live. When we read 'love your enemies' — He means do that. When we read 'be kind' — He means start today.

    Day 29Lamentations 3:22-23

    New Every Morning

    "It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning."

    Yesterday is over. Whatever went wrong, whatever you regret — God's mercy is brand new this morning. Like fresh bread out of the oven. He doesn't run out. You get to start today fresh.

    Day 30Matthew 28:19

    Go and Tell

    "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."

    Jesus' last words to His friends were: go tell people about me. That job belongs to every Christian — including kids. You don't have to be a preacher. You just have to share what you know about Jesus with the people God puts in your life.
