Story Summary
God told Abram to leave his country, his family and his father's house and go to a land He would show him. Abram went out not knowing where he was going. Years later God brought him outside at night, showed him the stars, and promised his descendants would be just as many — and Abram believed the LORD.
Memory Verse (KJV)
“And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing.”
Genesis 12:2
