    Big Idea

Jesus is Lord even of the wind and waves — there is no storm too big for our Saviour.

    Story Summary

Jesus and the disciples set sail across the Sea of Galilee. Jesus was tired and slept in the back of the boat on a pillow. A great storm of wind arose, the waves filled the boat, and the disciples were afraid. They woke Jesus, saying, 'Master, carest thou not that we perish?' Jesus stood up, rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, 'Peace, be still.' The wind ceased and there was a great calm. They marveled, saying, 'What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?'
