    Story Summary

    Elisha refused to leave Elijah's side, walking with him from Gilgal to Bethel to Jericho to Jordan. Elijah struck the water with his mantle and they crossed over on dry ground. Then a chariot of fire and horses of fire parted them, and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven — and his mantle fell to Elisha.

    Craft Idea: Whirlwind Spinner

    Supplies

    • Paper plates
    • Red and orange paint or paper
    • Scissors
    • String

    Steps

    1. Cut the plate into a spiral from the edge to the centre.
    2. Colour the spiral with fiery reds and oranges.
    3. Tie string to the centre and let it hang and spin.
    4. Write 2 Kings 2:11 along the spiral.
