    Story Summary

    Naaman was a great captain of Syria — and a leper. A little captive maid told her mistress about the prophet in Samaria. Naaman was furious when Elisha sent word to wash seven times in the muddy Jordan, but his servants persuaded him. He dipped seven times, and his flesh came again like the flesh of a little child.

    Discussion Questions

    1. Who first told Naaman's household about the prophet?

    Craft Idea: Seven-Dip Counting Strip

    Supplies

    • Long paper strips
    • Blue crayons
    • Stickers
    • Markers

    Steps

    1. Draw seven blue waves across the strip.
    2. Number each wave one to seven.
    3. Write 2 Kings 5:14 at the end of the strip.
    4. Count the dips aloud together as you retell the story.
