The Bible teaches that while salvation is a free gift, rewards in heaven are earned through faithful living. God keeps a record of every act of obedience, sacrifice, and service — and He promises to reward His faithful servants. Key King James Version passages include Matthew 6:20, 1 Corinthians 3:13-14, Revelation 22:12. This page collects 10 KJV verses about heavenly rewards, each quoted in full.

What rewards await believers in heaven?

Scripture mentions crowns of righteousness (2 Timothy 4:8), glory (1 Peter 5:4), and life (James 1:12), as well as authority and increased responsibility (Matthew 25:21). The greatest reward is being in God's presence forever.

Are heavenly rewards the same as salvation?

No. Salvation is a free gift by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9). Rewards are earned through faithful service, obedience, and sacrifice (1 Corinthians 3:13-14). All believers are saved, but rewards vary based on how we lived.
