What does the Bible say about heavenly mindedness?

To be heavenly minded is to live with eternity as your compass. It is not escapism but the ultimate realism — recognizing that this world is temporary and heaven is our true home. Key King James Version passages include Colossians 3:1-2, 2 Corinthians 4:18, Philippians 3:20. This page collects 10 KJV verses about heavenly mindedness, each quoted in full.

What does it mean to be heavenly minded?

Being heavenly minded means setting your priorities, values, and perspective on eternal things rather than temporal ones. It means living in light of eternity rather than being consumed by worldly pursuits.

Doesn't heavenly mindedness make people impractical?

No. The most effective Christians in history — those who changed the world — were the most heavenly minded. An eternal perspective actually produces greater impact on earth because it reorders priorities and removes the fear of man.
