"And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal."

"In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."

"And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."

What does the Bible say about heaven and hell?

The Bible speaks clearly about two eternal destinations: heaven, the glorious presence of God, and hell, the agonizing separation from Him. Jesus spoke more about hell than anyone else in Scripture—not to frighten but to warn. Key King James Version passages include Matthew 25:46, John 14:2-3, Revelation 20:15. This page collects 10 KJV verses about heaven and hell, each quoted in full.

Does the Bible really teach about hell?

Yes. Jesus Himself spoke extensively about hell, describing it as a place of eternal punishment (Matthew 25:46), unquenchable fire (Mark 9:43), and separation from God (2 Thessalonians 1:9). He warned about hell more than any other biblical author.

Who goes to heaven according to the Bible?

Scripture teaches that heaven is for those who believe in Jesus Christ (John 3:16), are born again (John 3:3), and have their names written in the Book of Life (Revelation 20:15). Entrance is by God's grace through faith, not by works (Ephesians 2:8-9).
