Accuracy Review
Bible Sundays Scripture Desk
The review pass that checks every quotation, reference, and original-language claim before publication.
The Scripture Desk is the accuracy check that sits between drafting and publication. It exists because the single fastest way for a Bible site to lose trust is a misquoted verse or a wrong reference.
Each page is checked for three things: that the quoted text matches the King James Version word for word, that the chapter-and-verse reference resolves to that text, and that any claim about a Hebrew or Greek word matches the Strong's entry cited.
Where a page makes an interpretive claim rather than a textual one, the desk checks that the claim is presented as interpretation and that historical alternatives are acknowledged.
Standards this work is held to
- Verse-by-verse comparison against the public-domain KJV text
- Reference resolution checked programmatically across all 31,102 verses
- Interpretive claims separated from textual claims by editorial policy
