What does the Bible say about eternal perspective?

An eternal perspective changes everything — how we spend our time, invest our resources, and respond to suffering. When we view life through the lens of eternity, temporary troubles shrink and lasting priorities come into focus. Key King James Version passages include 2 Corinthians 4:18, Colossians 3:2, Matthew 6:19-20. This page collects 10 KJV verses about eternal perspective, each quoted in full.

What does it mean to have an eternal perspective?

Having an eternal perspective means evaluating life's choices, priorities, and trials in light of eternity rather than just the present moment. It means investing in relationships, spiritual growth, and God's kingdom rather than temporary pleasures.

How does an eternal perspective help during suffering?

Romans 8:18 says present sufferings are 'not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed.' An eternal perspective doesn't minimize pain but places it in the context of God's bigger story, providing hope and endurance.
