A Kingdom That Shall Never Be Destroyed
Daniel's stone becomes a mountain that fills the whole earth.
Daniel interpreted Nebuchadnezzar's dream: a stone cut without hands strikes the image of human empires, becomes a great mountain, and fills the whole earth. The God of heaven sets up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed.
The Prophecy
"...a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet...and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth."
"And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed..."
"I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven...his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away..."
The Fulfillment
"...for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you."
"...The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever."
A stone, then a mountain
The kingdom begins quietly in Christ's first coming and enlarges through gospel ages until, at the end, it fills the whole earth.
