    Big Idea

God always keeps His promises — it is worth waiting and watching for Him.

    Story Summary

When Jesus was a baby, Mary and Joseph brought Him to the temple in Jerusalem to present Him to the Lord. An old man named Simeon was there. God had promised him that he would not die before he saw the Christ. Simeon took baby Jesus in his arms and praised God. Then Anna, a very old prophetess who served God in the temple night and day, came in. She gave thanks and told others about Jesus.
