    After His resurrection Jesus showed Himself alive by many infallible proofs over forty days. On the Mount of Olives He blessed His disciples, and while they beheld, He was taken up; a cloud received Him out of their sight. Two men in white apparel promised that this same Jesus would so come in like manner.
