The Holy Spirit fell on the disciples with a rushing wind and cloven tongues of fire on the day of Pentecost.
On the day of Pentecost the disciples were all together in one place. A sound like a rushing mighty wind filled the house, and cloven tongues like fire sat upon each of them. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the wonderful works of God in the languages of the gathered nations.
