Angels Ministered to Jesus (Wilderness & Gethsemane)
After temptation and in Gethsemane's agony, angels came and strengthened the Son of God — heaven's tender care for the suffering Saviour.
Twice the Gospels record angelic ministry to Jesus in His weakest moments. After forty days of temptation, 'the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him' (Matthew 4:11). In Gethsemane, 'there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him' (Luke 22:43). The Creator of angels chose, in His humanity, to be served by them.
