Big Idea
The Lord's Supper is a memory He gave us so we would never forget the cross.
Story Summary
On the night He was betrayed, Jesus ate the Passover with His disciples in a large upper room. He took bread, gave thanks, brake it and said, 'This is my body which is given for you.' Then He took the cup, the new testament in His blood, and told them to do this in remembrance of Him.
Memory Verse (KJV)
“This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.”
Luke 22:19
