Sky, sea and land
God made the sky above and gathered the waters into seas. Dry land appeared, and God made grass, plants and trees grow.
Sun, moon and stars
God made the sun to shine by day and the moon to shine by night. He made the stars also.
Fish, birds and animals
God filled the waters with fish and the sky with birds. He made cattle, creeping things and wild animals to live on the land.
Very good
God made people in his own image, male and female, to care for his world. God saw everything he had made, and it was very good. On the seventh day, God rested.
God made a good world for us to care for.
What is one thing God made that you are thankful for?
Dear God, thank you for your wonderful world. Help us care for your creation. Amen.
