Jesus called Him 'the Comforter' and said it was better for Him to go so the Spirit could come and dwell within us permanently. Key King James Version passages include John 14:26, Acts 1:8, Romans 8:26. This page collects 10 KJV verses about the holy spirit, each quoted in full.

The Holy Spirit convicts of sin (John 16:8), regenerates believers (Titus 3:5), seals them for salvation (Ephesians 1:13-14), teaches truth (John 14:26), produces spiritual fruit (Galatians 5:22-23), distributes spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 12:7-11), and empowers for witness (Acts 1:8).
