What does the Bible say about the goodness of god?

The goodness of God is one of Scripture's most foundational themes. From creation's declaration that everything was 'very good' to the psalmist's cry 'O taste and see that the LORD is good,' the Bible overflows with testimonies of God's kindness, generosity, and benevolence toward His creation. Key King James Version passages include Psalm 34:8, Psalm 107:1, Nahum 1:7. This page collects 10 KJV verses about the goodness of god, each quoted in full.

How can I see God's goodness in difficult times?

Look for His presence (Nahum 1:7), recall past faithfulness (Psalm 77:11), trust His promise to work all things for good (Romans 8:28), and remember that His goodness is rooted in His character, not our circumstances.

Is God always good?

Yes. God's goodness is an unchanging attribute of His nature (Psalm 100:5, James 1:17). Even when we don't understand His ways, His goodness remains constant. Jesus affirmed that only God is truly good (Mark 10:18).
