What does the Bible say about fear of the future?

Fear of the future is one of the most common anxieties humans face — fear of failure, sickness, loss, or the unknown. But Scripture reveals a God who holds the future in His hands and invites us to trust Him with what we cannot see or control. Key King James Version passages include Jeremiah 29:11, Matthew 6:34, Isaiah 41:10. This page collects 10 KJV verses about fear of the future, each quoted in full.

How do I stop worrying about the future?

Jesus commanded 'Take no thought for the morrow' (Matthew 6:34). This isn't irresponsibility — it's trust. Combine prayer (Philippians 4:6-7) with the truth that your times are in God's hand (Psalm 31:15).

Does God know my future?

Yes. Isaiah 46:10 says God declares 'the end from the beginning.' He is not surprised by anything in your future and has already prepared provision and purpose for every season ahead.
