Is it a sin to have negative thoughts?

Passing negative thoughts are not inherently sinful, but dwelling on them and letting them control you can lead to sin. The Bible calls us to actively manage our thought life (2 Corinthians 10:5) and focus on what is true and good (Philippians 4:8).

How can I stop negative thinking?

Identify the lie behind the thought, counter it with Scripture truth, pray about your concerns (Philippians 4:6-7), practice gratitude, and surround yourself with positive, faith-filled influences. Mind renewal is a daily practice, not a one-time event.
