Drop a daily KJV verse into your Webflow project

Webflow's Embed element takes the widget directly. Because the iframe is fluid, it respects whatever container width and responsive rules you have already set.

    Customize the widget

    What it looks like

Live preview of the daily verse in the paper theme. Light and dark themes are available in the builder.

The code to paste into Webflow

<!-- Bible Sundays KJV verse widget — free, public domain -->
    <iframe src="https://www.biblesundays.com/embed/verse?mode=daily&theme=paper&via=widget" title="KJV Bible Verse — Bible Sundays" width="100%" height="240" style="border:0;max-width:560px;" loading="lazy"></iframe>
    <a href="https://www.biblesundays.com/?utm_source=widget&utm_medium=embed&utm_campaign=widget-widget" target="_blank" rel="noopener" style="display:block;margin-top:6px;font-size:12px;line-height:1.4;color:#6b7280;text-decoration:none;text-align:center;max-width:560px;">biblesundays.com</a>

Goes into an Embed element inside any div block or section.

How to add a Bible verse to Webflow

    1. 1

      Copy the embed code

Choose a theme on the widget builder and copy the iframe.

    2. 2

      Add an Embed element

In the Designer press A, search for 'Embed' and drag it into your layout.

    3. 3

      Paste the code

Paste the iframe into the code editor panel and click Save & Close.

    4. 4

      Set the container

Give the parent div a max-width of around 560 pixels so the verse card sits comfortably.

    5. 5

      Publish

Publish the site and check the live URL — Embed elements only render on published pages.

    Webflow specifics worth knowing

    • Embed elements are available on all paid Webflow plans and in the free Designer for staging previews.
    • Set the iframe height in the code rather than with Webflow styles, since iframe content cannot auto-size the element.
    • Add the Embed inside a Collection List if you want the verse to appear on every CMS-driven page.

    Why this widget

    No plugin, no account

One line of HTML. Nothing to install, nothing to keep updated, no API key.

    No ads or trackers

The frame sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts onto your visitors.

    Public-domain KJV

Every verse is the King James Version, free to quote and republish with no licence.

    Webflow widget questions

Why does the widget not show in the Designer?

Webflow renders custom embeds only on published pages and in Preview mode. Publish to staging to check it.

Is the widget responsive in Webflow?

Yes. Width is set to 100% so it fills whatever container you put it in, up to the max-width in the snippet.
