Samson Pulls Down the Pillars
Blind and bound, Samson prayed once more and brought the temple of Dagon down on his enemies.
Betrayed by Delilah, Samson was blinded by the Philistines and made sport of in the temple of Dagon. He prayed, 'O Lord God, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once.' He grasped the two middle pillars, bowed with all his might, and the house fell on the lords and people inside.
