What does the Bible say about holiness of god?

Holiness is the attribute that defines all of God's other attributes. His love is holy love. Key King James Version passages include Isaiah 6:3, Revelation 4:8, 1 Peter 1:15-16. This page collects 10 KJV verses about holiness of god, each quoted in full.

What does God's holiness mean?

God's holiness means He is completely set apart, morally perfect, and utterly pure. There is no darkness, sin, or imperfection in Him. His holiness is the standard by which all goodness is measured.

Why does God call us to be holy?

Because we are made in His image and called to reflect His character (1 Peter 1:16). Holiness is not about perfection but about being set apart for God's purposes and growing in Christlikeness through the Holy Spirit's work.
