What does the Bible say about clean living?

Clean living, in biblical terms, goes beyond outward behavior — it encompasses purity of heart, mind, and action. God calls His people to be holy as He is holy, set apart from the patterns of a fallen world. Key King James Version passages include Psalm 24:3-4, 2 Corinthians 7:1, 1 Peter 1:15-16. This page collects 10 KJV verses about clean living, each quoted in full.

What does clean living mean in the Bible?

Clean living means pursuing holiness in heart, mind, and behavior. It involves fleeing sin, guarding your thoughts (Philippians 4:8), and living in a way that honors God in every area of life.

Is clean living legalism?

No. Biblical clean living flows from grace, not rule-keeping. Titus 2:11-12 teaches that God's grace itself teaches us to live soberly and righteously. It's a response to love, not a condition of it.
