Healing of the Man with the Withered Hand
Jesus heals a man with a withered hand on the Sabbath, confronting hard-hearted religion.
Jesus entered the synagogue and a man was there with a withered hand. The Pharisees watched to see if He would heal on the Sabbath. He called the man to stand forth, asked whether it was lawful to do good on the Sabbath, and said, 'Stretch forth thine hand.' He stretched it out and it was restored whole as the other.

Key KJV Scriptures

Spiritual Significance
Jesus exposes the difference between God's mercy and man's traditions. The Sabbath was made for restoration — His healing was the deepest fulfillment of the day.
Lesson for Today
Religion that has no room for mercy is not from God. Stretch out what is shrivelled in your life at the Lord's word, and He will make it whole.
