    The Book of Jeremiah

The Book of Jeremiah records the ministry of the prophet Jeremiah, who delivers God's warnings to Judah during its final years before exile. Known as the "weeping prophet," Jeremiah faithfully proclaims God's message despite rejection and persecution.

Jeremiah warns of impending judgment because of persistent idolatry and disobedience. At the same time, he offers hope by proclaiming God's promise of a new covenant, written on the hearts of His people rather than on stone.

    The book highlights:

    • •the tension between judgment and mercy, revealing God's sorrow over sin and His desire for repentance and restoration. Jeremiah teaches: God's patience has limits
    • •Judgment follows persistent rebellion
    • •God offers renewal through a new covenant.
