    The Book of Daniel

The Book of Daniel records powerful stories of faithfulness to God while living in exile, alongside prophetic visions that reveal God's sovereignty over history. Daniel and his companions are taken captive to Babylon, where they remain devoted to God despite intense pressure to conform.

The first half of the book features well-known accounts such as the fiery furnace and the lions' den, demonstrating that God honors faithfulness and is able to deliver His servants. These narratives show that obedience to God matters even in hostile environments.

The second half of Daniel contains apocalyptic visions revealing the rise and fall of earthly kingdoms and pointing to God's eternal kingdom. These prophecies assure God's people that despite political upheaval, God remains in control and will ultimately establish everlasting righteousness.

    Daniel teaches:

    • •God is sovereign over all nations
    • •Faithfulness honors God even in exile
    • •God's kingdom will outlast all others.
