What does the Bible say about joy of salvation?

Salvation is the greatest gift any person can receive, and the joy it brings is unlike anything the world can offer. When we realize the depth of what God has done — rescuing us from sin and granting us eternal life — joy overflows. Key King James Version passages include Psalm 51:12, Luke 15:10, Isaiah 12:3. This page collects 10 KJV verses about joy of salvation, each quoted in full.

What does 'restore the joy of salvation' mean?

In Psalm 51:12, David asks God to renew the gladness that comes from knowing you are saved. Sin, circumstances, and spiritual dryness can dim that joy, but God is faithful to restore it when we return to Him.

Can you lose the joy of salvation?

While salvation itself is secure for the believer, the joy of it can be diminished through unconfessed sin, neglect of spiritual practices, or life's hardships. The remedy is repentance, worship, and renewed focus on Christ.
