What does the Bible say about distractions?

The Bible teaches believers to focus on God and eternal things (Colossians 3:2, Hebrews 12:1-2). Jesus commended Mary for choosing focused devotion over Martha's busy distraction (Luke 10:41-42). Scripture calls for single-minded pursuit of God.

How can I stay focused on God?

Stay focused through daily prayer and Scripture reading, setting your mind on things above (Colossians 3:2), laying aside 'every weight' (Hebrews 12:1), and intentionally choosing the 'one thing needful' (Luke 10:42). Guard your attention as you would guard your heart.
