What is childlike faith?

Childlike faith is simple, wholehearted trust in God — the kind of trust a child places in a loving parent. It is humble, dependent, and free from the skepticism that often comes with age.

Is childlike faith the same as being naive?

No. Jesus calls us to be innocent as doves but wise as serpents (Matthew 10:16). Childlike faith is about trust and humility before God, not intellectual naivety.
