Prayer as Spiritual Warfare
Prayer is not preparation for the battle — it is the battle. The believer's chief weapon is access to the throne of God.
After listing the armor, Paul writes 'Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit' (Ephesians 6:18). Prayer is the atmosphere in which every other piece functions. Daniel 10 shows a prayer that triggered angelic warfare in the heavens. The early church 'continued steadfastly... in prayers' (Acts 2:42) and shook nations.
