    Isaiah 35 is a radiant vision of the redeemed world — creation itself rejoicing at God's restoration. The wilderness blooms with roses, the desert becomes a pool of water, and weak hands and feeble knees are strengthened. God comes personally to save: 'Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing.'
