Raising the Widow of Nain's Son
Jesus stops a funeral at Nain and raises the widow's only son from the bier.
As Jesus came near the gate of Nain, a dead man was carried out — the only son of his mother, a widow. The Lord saw her, had compassion, and said, 'Weep not.' He touched the bier and said, 'Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.' He that was dead sat up and began to speak, and Jesus delivered him to his mother.
