The Birth of Isaac
Sarah bears Isaac at ninety years old, fulfilling God's covenant promise to Abraham.
The LORD visited Sarah as He had said, and did unto her as He had spoken. Sarah conceived and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken. Abraham was a hundred years old and Sarah ninety. They called his name Isaac — 'laughter' — for God had turned her doubting laugh into joy.
