What does the Bible say about god's promises for healing?

Healing is one of God's most personal promises. Whether you need physical healing from disease, emotional healing from trauma, or spiritual healing from sin, Scripture reveals a God who restores the broken. Key King James Version passages include Jeremiah 30:17, Exodus 15:26, Psalm 103:3. This page collects 10 KJV verses about god's promises for healing, each quoted in full.

Does God still heal today?

Yes. God's character does not change (Malachi 3:6). James 5:15 instructs believers to pray for the sick with the expectation that 'the Lord shall raise him up.' Many believers testify to divine healing today.

Why doesn't God heal everyone?

This is one of the deepest mysteries of faith. Paul himself had an unhealed 'thorn in the flesh' (2 Corinthians 12:7-9). God's ultimate promise is not immunity from suffering but resurrection and eternal wholeness.
