How can you identify a false teacher?

Scripture provides several tests: Do they teach sound doctrine consistent with the Bible? Do they bear good fruit in their lives? Do they point people to Christ or to themselves? Do they deny key truths about Jesus?

Why does God allow false teachers?

False teachers serve as a test of discernment and commitment to truth. They remind the church of the importance of studying Scripture, staying grounded in doctrine, and relying on the Holy Spirit for guidance.
