Great Light in Galilee
Isaiah foretold that despised Galilee would see a great light — fulfilled in Christ.
Isaiah said the land of Zebulun and Naphtali — Galilee of the Gentiles — would see a great light. Matthew explicitly cites the prophecy when Jesus moves to Capernaum and begins His public ministry.

"...in Galilee of the nations. The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined."

"And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum...That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, The land of Zabulon...The people which sat in darkness saw great light..."
Despised Galilee
Galilee was looked down on by Judaean Jews; it was 'Galilee of the Gentiles.' Yet Isaiah said it would be the very place where the messianic light first broke.
