Original Language
'N'shamah' means breath, spirit, or life-breath—the breath God breathed into Adam (Genesis 2:7). It's more intimate than 'ruach' (wind/spirit). Every creature's breath is a gift from God, making every breath an opportunity and obligation for praise.
