After downloading the PDF, open it in Adobe Acrobat Reader (free at adobe.com). Press Ctrl+P (or Cmd+P) to open the Print dialog. Under 'Page Sizing & Handling' choose 'Multiple', then set 'Pages per sheet' to 4. Tick 'Print on both sides of paper' and choose 'Flip on short edge.' This will give you four miniature pages per physical sheet — when stacked and stapled or bound, you get a pocket-size Bible you can carry anywhere. For an even smaller version, try 6-up or 8-up scaling.
For a true folded booklet, open the PDF in Acrobat and choose Print → 'Booklet' under Page Sizing & Handling. Acrobat will automatically reorder the pages so that when you fold the printed stack in half, the pages appear in correct order. Use 24 lb paper for crisp folds, then staple along the spine. This works best for printing a single book (e.g., the Gospel of John) rather than the entire Bible — perfect for evangelism, missions trips, or sharing with someone new to scripture.
