What does the Bible say about finding strength in god?

Human strength has limits, but God's power is limitless. When our own resources run out, God's strength is made available to those who trust in Him. Key King James Version passages include Isaiah 40:31, Philippians 4:13, Psalm 46:1. This page collects 10 KJV verses about finding strength in god, each quoted in full.

How does God give us strength?

God gives strength through His Spirit (Ephesians 3:16), through His Word (Psalm 119:28), through prayer, and through the encouragement of fellow believers. Sometimes strength comes as endurance rather than removal of the trial.

Does finding strength in God mean ignoring weakness?

No. Paul boasted in his weaknesses because God's power was made perfect in them (2 Corinthians 12:9). Acknowledging weakness positions us to receive God's strength.
