Romans 12:18 sets the standard: 'as much as lieth in you, live peaceably' — your part, regardless of theirs.\n\nPray for them daily by name. Speak well of them; refuse to slander even to sympathetic ears. Address offences directly when wise (Matthew 18:15). Forgive seventy times seven (Matthew 18:22). Where there is genuine abuse or persistent danger, set boundaries — love does not require enabling sin or accepting harm.\n\nEntrust the relationship to God. He sees what you cannot. Some family conflicts soften over years of patient prayer; some do not resolve this side of glory. Either way, you are responsible for your obedience, not their response. Keep loving, keep praying, and let God do the work only He can do in their hearts.
