Matthew 9, Mark 5, and Luke 8 record the woman who had an issue of blood twelve years. Levitically unclean and impoverished by physicians, she pressed through the crowd to touch the hem of Jesus' garment.
Her Story
She came behind Him, saying within herself, 'If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.' Straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up. Jesus perceived virtue had gone out of Him and asked, 'Who touched my clothes?' Fearing and trembling she fell down before Him and told Him all the truth. He answered, 'Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague' (Mark 5:34).
