John 10:10 appears in John chapter 10, verse 10. Jesus spoke this during the Feast of Dedication (Hanukkah) in Jerusalem, around AD 32. Using shepherd imagery His audience knew well, He contrasted Himself with Israel's corrupt religious leaders (the 'thieves and robbers').
