Word Study
'Adialeiptōs' means unceasingly, constantly, or without intermission. It was used medically for a persistent cough and for ongoing military watch duty. 'Pray without ceasing' doesn't mean never stopping but maintaining a constant attitude of communion with God throughout daily life.
Living It Out
Joy, prayer, and thanksgiving should characterize daily life. These aren't occasional activities but ongoing attitudes that reflect God's will for believers.
