5 Mother's Day Sermon Ideas
Mother's Day Sunday is one of the trickiest in the church calendar. Some women in the room are mothers; some long to be; some have lost children; some have lost mothers; some had hard mothers. The pastor's task is to honor the calling of motherhood without wounding the women for whom this day already aches.
The ideas below honor godly mothers from Scripture while leaving room for every woman in the congregation.
1 Samuel 1
1. Hannah's Prayer
A woman in pain prays — and changes a nation.

Generational faith shapes a child for ministry.
