    Sanballat, Tobiah, and Geshem attempt to lure Nehemiah away from the wall through repeated invitations to 'meet in the plain of Ono.' Nehemiah famously replies, 'I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down.' They then try intimidation, false accusations, and a hired false prophet to frighten him into hiding in the Temple.
