    Judges 15 continues Samson's tumultuous story. After his Philistine wife is given to another man, Samson retaliates by tying torches to foxes and burning Philistine grain fields. The escalating cycle of revenge leads to Samson being bound by his own people and handed to the Philistines.

    In a dramatic display of God-given strength, Samson breaks his bonds and kills a thousand Philistines with the jawbone of a donkey. Afterward, God miraculously provides water from the jawbone to quench his thirst.
