Judges 11 tells the story of Jephthah, an outcast warrior who becomes Israel's deliverer against the Ammonites. Jephthah first tries diplomacy, sending a message recounting Israel's history with the land. When Ammon refuses peace, Jephthah leads Israel to victory.
